Ivanna Oliinyk

Ivanna Oliinyk (cello) was born in 2006 in Lviv, Ukraine. She began learning cello at the age of

6 with Nadia Kvyk entering the specialist music school in Lviv. During her studies she has taken part in many competition and festivals. She studied in Poland in 2022 before moving to the UK. When Ivanna arrived to England she was accepted into National Youth Orchestra, Royal Academy Junior Department and The Purcell School Of Music, where she was supported by the Government's Music and Dance Scheme in the class of Pal Banda. In 2023 she took part in the Concertgebouw Young programme. She has performed in renowned halls such as Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, Concertgebouw, Berlin Konzerthaus, Lviv Philharmonie and many more. Ivanna is now a first year student studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Christoph Richter.
