Sofiia Lomidze

Sofi Lomidze is an 18-year-old Ukrainian violinist from Kharkiv and a laureate of international violin competitions in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Georgia, and Ukraine. Since 2022, she has been studying at The Purcell School for Young Musicians in London under the guidance of Aistė Dvarionaitė. She is a first violin at the orchestra of the Royal Orchestral Society and has performed with the Sitkovetsky Chamber Orchestra. Sofi has participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians including Itzhak Rashkovsky, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Daniil Kurganov, and Sergey Malov. Actively involved in fundraising concerts, she supports Ukrainian children and helps raise funds for medical ambulances, performing alongside Romans Mints, Dima Udovichenko, and Nicholas Daniel
